About the University of Guelph Research Data Repositories

The University of Guelph Research Data Repositories (Data Repositories) provide long-term stewardship of research data created at or in cooperation with the University of Guelph. The Data Repositories are guided by the FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship which aim to improve the Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reuse of research data.

The Data Repositories is composed of two main collections: the Agri-environmental Research Data collection which houses agricultural and environmental research data, and the Cross-disciplinary Research Data collection which houses all other disciplinary research data.

Please refer to our Digital Repositories Policy.

The University of Guelph is a participating member of Borealis, a Canadian Dataverse Repository / le dépôt Dataverse canadien, and as such conforms with the Borealis Terms of Use.

Start the deposit process: The library offers a self-deposit with mediation data repository service. For more information about how the Data Repositories work, guidance materials for preparing your data for deposit, and instructions on how to deposit, please see How to deposit research data in the University of Guelph Research Data Repositories.

Support: If you are interested in depositing in the Data Repositories or have any questions about preparing and depositing your data, please contact us at: libresc@uoguelph.ca.

Additional resources: Administrative guides, templates, and internal workflow documentation related to the Data Repositories service are available at University of Guelph Research Data Repositories data curation guides, templates, and workflows
